In fact, there are some times that I will get curious about the price of something, then I will get on my computer and go through about 50 different eBay auctions just to find how REALLY cheap I can get an item on the open market. Wow! What kick in the pants weekend I've had. Took my laptop in for repairs and now I no longer own a laptop! sigh... Thankfully the guy working on it is pretty smart and he can save my harddrive with everything on it, not to mention he is replacing it with a brand new one because he believes it was his fault. As I drove home from work this morning I once again pondered how long this is going to continue. It's been almost four years now that I've worked the night shift and frankly I feel I'm getting burnt out. I think a lot of us who are good finding information on the internet, take that talent for granted. I'm not braging but it seems rather simple to find just about any information on any subject using the net. My wife was trying to find inforamtion last week on antennas for cb radios and wasn't having any luck. She would search with too specific search terms instead of keep the first search on antennas for cb radios very broad and then narrowing it down after you see the results. Anyway, after she told me she couldn't find waht she was looking for, I spent about 10 minutes and emailed her 6 or 7 links pertaining exactly to antennas for cb radios. She was amazed!!! This past weekend I took my oldest daughter out to lunch and to do some shopping. I was out surfing for some information on a subject related to the US government and found myself starting to drift off into another thought. I remember just reading about how all the major search engines were working along side the Chinese government to censor what its internet users could view. I went to the store the other day and really saw something strange. There was this lady that parked in the han dicapped parking space, but she did not hav e a handicapped sticker or license plate. She was young and seemed to be in good shape so I went over to her and asked where her handicap sticker was and she replied she did not have one and did not even realize she parked in my parking space. She immedicately responded that she made an error and would move her car to avoid the fine and allow me to park there. She was so kind and had just made a simple mistake.
